Dr. Walid S. Arnaout is a board certified general surgeon and a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He has spent most of his career in academic medicine and tertiary health care setting. He completed his residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, followed by a liver transplant and hepatobiliary surgery fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center as well as a multi-organ transplant fellowship at UCLA. He remained at Cedars, serving as a transplant surgeon and associate director of the liver transplant program until 2001.

In 2002, Dr. Arnaout opened his private practice in the San Fernando Valley and Ventura county, bringing his expertise in liver and pancreas surgery to the local community.  "My goal is to establish a practice that offers state of the art hepatobiliary and pancreas expertise locally in order to save patients and their families from traveling many miles away from home."

In August 2007,
 Dr. Arnaout moved to Buffalo, NY and joined the Buffalo Medical Group, Department of Surgery, where he primarily practices at Kenmore Mercy Hospital and The Kalieda Health System.

In July 2008, Dr. Arnaout relocated back to the San Fernando Valley, Los Angeles, CA.  He primarily practices at Northridge Hospital & Holly Cross Hospital.
